Published in 1968 at Calcutta, Cena sonar baire - Beyond the Familiar World - is Didi's - Amita Bhose' s - journey to Romania. Indian radio channels consider it "the best book on a foreign country". But Romania is the country where she would return and live the second half of her life. It is the country she served with her pen and heart and the book is, now, the gift for all my Bengali friends, with a humble request to share this journey with their friends. 

 

The book is structured by me in two parts (for technical reasons) and they can be read for free online or downloaded from the two links in the comments.
